FAQ's
What is a Microbial Shield Treatment?
We use Zoono Microbe Shield which is a revolutionary, highly effective broad spectrum water-based antimicrobial technology that inhibits the growth of viruses, germs, bacteria, mould, mildew, and fungi. Applied just once a month (depending on your individual circumstances) this innovative, long-lasting antimicrobial permanently bonds to surfaces on which it is applied. The non-corrosive, non-toxic product lays down a bacteriostatic defensive layer that resembles millions of tiny “pins” that physically puncture microbes when they come in contact with a treated surface. Unlike traditional disinfectants that only work while they are wet, Zoono starts to work while it is wet but works best once it has dried, offering a continuous bacteriostatic/fungistatic barrier that protects surfaces and keeps these bacteria from colonising hundreds of times longer than typical disinfectant protocols and hygiene regimens.
What is Zoono?
Zoono is a Microbe Shield which is a revolutionary, highly effective broad spectrum water-based antimicrobial coating that inhibits the growth of viruses, germs, bacteria, mould, mildew, fungi. Depending on individual needs/circumstances Zoono needs to be applied less frequently as it is effective for extended periods of time – up to a month (depending on individual circumstances). Zoono provides a cost-effective broad spectrum antimicrobial protection with a lasting residual effect. It is effective against a wide range of disease causing viruses and bacteria. Zoono has also been proven to be effective against enveloped coronaviruses.
What is fogging?
Fogging is the use of specialised machines to produce micro droplets that are suspended in the air for approximately 10 minutes to reduce the numbers of airborne micro-organisms and also to apply suitable products (appropriate product will vary according to your requirements) to surfaces that may be difficult to reach by conventional cleaning methods. This process takes about 30 minutes, this is dependant on the size of the area being fogged.
We have a selection of foggers for different situations, they can mist up to 9 meters directionally. We can use additional foggers to cover larger areas.
The fogged area is completely safe to return to approximately 30 minutes after application, dependant on the product used.

What is a Dry Steam Treatment?
Dry Steam is a proven treatment for hard surfaces, walls, floors and furniture and can reach into every corner of every surface in a way that conventional cleaning methods cannot. It is non-toxic to humans and animals, it is food safe and non-tainting.
Our high pressure continuous Steam Cleaners release very fine steam at temperatures of up to 180ºC.
Most viruses cannot survive in temperatures over 56ºC, therefore you can be assured that the treated area is left secure.
Our commercial grade machines come complete with an integral vacuum system that has been awarded a Clean Show Innovation Award – this integral system ensures surfaces are left clean & dry.
What can you clean with Dry Steam?
Because our dry steam machines use purified/ionised water, there are no chemicals involved. We have the ability to not only dry steam treat the general area, but can also treat carpets, upholstery etc (for an additional cost using specialised equipment). The dry steam machine has an integral vacuum ensuring surfaces are left clean and dry.

The building should be vacant for approximately 30 minutes following the treatment, depending on which treatment you have opted to receive.

With the dry steam service pets are safe as no chemicals are used.
